In the light of the above, Al-Azhar called for the convening of an intemational conference to support Jerusalem and the question of Palestine under the title "Al-Azhar International Conference to upport Jerusalem," held" on Wednesday, Rabi ul-Akhar 29th, 1439 January 1th, 2018 and Thursday Jumada 1-Uwlal", 1439 January 18th, 2018 at Al-Azhar Conference Center, located in Nasr city The purpose of the conference was to discuss the mechanisms of a procedure that can regain the Palestinian dignity, protect their land, preserve the identity of religious sanctities and fend off the Zionistic arrogance that challenges the international resolutions and provokes the feelings of both the Muslims and Christians around the world
